Hugh J. Boyle of 547 Green St., Belle Vernon, died Tuesday March 1,1977,at 7 p.m. in Lexington, Ky.,following an extended illness. He was 72. He was born Oct.24,1904 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Hugh J. and Mary Traynor Boyle. He was a resident of the Monessen and Belle Vernon areas all his life and was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon and Knights of Columbus Council 3026 in Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue and Margaret and one brother,Jack. He is survived by his widow, Olga Nelson Boyle,two sons, Thomas A. of Lexington, Ky. and John J. in Australia; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Mary Louise) George in Washington,D.c.,eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Rose Lhoest of Columbus,Ohio. Friends will be received Thursday, March 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday,March 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Inc.,Monessen. Prayer service will be held Saturday,March 5,at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Inc.,in charge of arrangements.
