Obituary

Harry Byron,77,of 210 Grove Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,June 24,1976 at 7:05 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Barnesboro on Feb.6,1899 and had lived in Lynnwood the past 35 years. Previously,he resided in Monessen. Mr.Byron was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. He had retired as a bricklayer from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. His wife,Helen Nelson Byron,preceded him in death in 1970. Surviving are one son,Wallace Byron of Campbell,Calif.,one sister,Mrs.Glenn (Eleanor) Mills of Layton,Utah,four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.Hartzell A.Michael of Lynnwood Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
