Robert B. Byron,82,formerly of Blairsville,died Thursday,May 27,1976,in St. Petersburg,Fla. He was born March 11,1894 in Phillipsburg,Pa.and was an Army veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Esther A Bovill Byron;two sons,Raymond R. of State College and Lawrence J.of McKeesport;one brother,Harry Byron of Belle Vernon,and six grandchildren. Friends will be received in the ed Melenyzer Funeral Home in Monessen on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Belle Vernon Lodge F&AM 643,of which he was a member,will hold services at the funeral home 8 p.m.Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Douglas M. Kierstead,Rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Monongahela,in charge, Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ed Melenyzer is funeral director in charge.
