Robert L.Black Sr.;45;of 9 Bowman Ave.;Charleroi;died suddenly Thursday;March 6;1975 at 9:34 a.m.in Washington Hospital. Mr.Black was born in Charleroi on Aug.29;1929;the son of the late James C.Black Sr.and Evelyn Wilson Black. He was a veteran of the U.S.Marine Corps and a machinist at the Millcraft Industries in Washington. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi and Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club. He is survived by his widow;Anna Gnip Black;two sons;Robert L.Black Jr.and William Black;both at home;two daughters;Carole A.Henry and Leslie Black;both at home;two brothers;James C.Black of Allentown;Pa.and Loren Black of Speers;one step-sister;Janet Black Gray of Fallowfield Twp.;and one grandson;Christopher Henry of Charleroi. Mr.Black was preceded in death by one brother;Glenn Allen Wilson Black. Friends will be received in the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;on Saturday March 8;1975 from 2 until 4 p.m.and 7 until 9 p.m.and on Sunday;March 9;1975 from noon to 4 p.m.and 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday;March 10;1975 at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Frank A.Bodnar;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi;officiating.
