Obituary

Theresa Bonie,87,of 10530 Laurel St.,Livonia,a suburb of Detroit,Mich.,died Thursday,Nov.28,1972 in the Good Samaritan Hospital of Detroit. Born in Italy,she was a pioneer Monessen resident,moving to Detroit in 1944 following the death of her husband,Louis Bonie. She was a former member of St.Paul's Lutheran Church of Monessen and the Italian Ladies Mutual Aid Society,both the Schoonmaker and NIPA branches. She was preceded in death by a sister,Mrs.Rena Marchione. Surviving are four daughters,Mrs.Marie French,with whom she made her home,Mrs.Gerald (Enis) Coyle of Tempe,Ariz.,Mrs.Thomas (Genevieve) Richardson of Deerfield Beach,Fla.,and Mrs.Ray (Vivian) Klann of Livonia,Mich.,three sons,Alfred R.Bonie of Monessen,Raymond A.Bonie of Detroit and Louis Bonie of Griffith,Ind.,one sister,Mrs.Athalia Zambelli of Monessen. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren,nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home,Grand Blvd.,Monessen between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday,Dec.2,1972 at 1:30 p.m.in the funeral home chapel,conducted by the Rev.Gary Rischer,pastor of St.Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rhome funeral directors in charge.
