Obituary
John Bartek,91, a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon,died Wednesday, Oct. 11,972. at 5:45 a.m. in the Westmoreland Manor Convalescent Home, Greensburg. He was a member of the Slovak Lodge of Charleroi. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Radish of Carmel,N.Y.,Mrs. Clinton (Mary) Buchanan of Pricedale,Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Tylka of Van Meter,Mrs. Andrew A. (Catherine) Baron of Belle Vernon and Miss Eleanor Bartek of Seattle, Wash.;nine grandchildren;seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. Friday at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Davis.pastor of the Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
