Willaim Lee Britt;26;of Box 36;Wickhaven;Pa.;was killed instantly Sunday;Aug.22;1971;at 5 a.m.in an automobile accident on Route 51;in Rostraver Twp.;10 miles North of Perryopolis. He was born in Martins Ferry;Ohio;Nov.15;1944. He served with the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked on the assembly live at Fisher Body’s Pittsburgh Plant. Surviving are his widow;Sue Ann Savko Britt;his daughter;Elizabeth Lee;two years old;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.James Britt of Wickhaven;four brothers;Charles and Terry at home;Frank of Allenport and Ronald of Perryopolis;two sisters Carol Jean at home and Mrs.Lynn (Shirley) Parshall of Smithton;one paternal grandparent;Elmer Britt Sr.of Belle Vernon and one maternal grandparent;Mrs.Frank Porter of Lansing;Ohio. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Tuesday at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a service will be held Wednesday;Aug.25;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Jack Dunlap of the Church of God in Connellsville officiating.
