Wheeler Brookings,88,of 1202 Twelfth St.,Monessen,died Tuesday, April 5,1966 at 12:40 a.m. en route to Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial. Mr. Brookings was a retired coal miner. Surviving are his daugher, Mrs. William (Mary Ellen) Morgan of Monessen,with whom he made his home;one son,Joseph of Connellsville;six grandchildren ad two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the beverly C. Draper funeral Home,Monesen. Funeral services Thursday,April 7,at 11 a.m. in Mt. Zion Baptist Church,Connellsville,with the Rev. P. L. Greene,pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemtery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
