John Baron Sr., 85,a retired coal miner who lived at Long Ave., Fairhope,died Wednesday November 17,1965,at 11:40 a.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Davie (Jean) Igoe of 1224 Lynn Drive, Belle Vernon. Although he had been ill, his death was unexpected. Mr. Bron was born in Poland,Aug. 10,1880. Surviving are two sons, Adolph of Belle Vernon and John Jr.at home;two daughters, Mrs. Igoe of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Doyle (Rose) Green of Gloucester Point, Va.;15 grandchidlren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where a service will take place at 1 p.m.,Saturday,Nov. 20, Canon Joseph Wilkofski of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Charleroi will officiate.
