Mrs. Mary Maria Bednar of Gillespie, Fayette City R.D.,died Sunday,May 2,1965 at 10:20 a.m. at St. Basil's Home for Aged Women at Mt. Macrina in Uniontown. Mrs. Bednar was born in Czechoslovakia on Jan. 14,1884. She was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church,Charleroi. Surviving are several nieces ad nephews in the Fayette city and Perryopolis areas. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Prayers will be said Wednesday,May 5,at 9 a.m.,followed by Requiem Divine Liturgy in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church,Charleroi at 10 a.m. The Rev. Andrew Chura,pastor,will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service at the funeral home,May 4,at 7 p.m. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director.
