Harold K. Bowell, 66, of 209 Fifth St., Charleroi, died Friday,May 8,1964 in Charleroi - Monessen Hospital. Born in Belle Vernon Aug. 24, 1897, he came to Charleroi in February of this year from Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He was a retired employe of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co., Mt. Vernon plant. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Charleroi. Surviving are his widow, Doris Murray Bowell and a sister, Mrs. Gilbert H. Zimmerman, North Charleroi. Friends will be received al the Harold L. Schrock Funeral Home, 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, May 9 from 7 to 10 p.m.and May 10 from 12 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held from the funeral home on Monday,May 11,at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Martin S. Longnecker,pastor of First Methodist Church,Charleroi,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock,funeral director.
