George William Boston;74;of 613 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Sunday;Feb.18;1962;at 9:20 a.m. He was a retired employee of the P.and L.E.Railroad;having worked for the company for 45 years. For the past nine years he was associated with William Mascara of the Broad Ave. Jewelers in Belle Vernon. He was a member of the Board of Education in North Belle Vernon for 23 years;now known as the Bellmarette Jointure School District. He was also a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon;and the Belle Vernon Lodge 643;F.and A.M. He is survived by his widow;Mrs.Elizabeth Boston;one son;Ross O.Boston of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Ernest (Hilda) Como;of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday;Feb.21;at 2 p.m.;in charge of the Rev.Everett Oakes;pastor of the Belle Vernon Christian Church.
