Charles Babich of Fayette City R.D.1,died at his home Thursday, January 28,1960,at 5:30 p.m. He was born July 25,1881,in Austria,and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Greek Catholic Church of Charleroi. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth,eight sons, Charles of Perryopolis,R.D.2,John,Michael,Frank,Joseph,Andrew and Samuel,all of Fayette City R.D,1 and Paul of Newell; four daughters, Mrs. Earl (Mary) Blanchard of Phoenix, Arizona,Mrs. Louis (Ellen) Barota of Perryopolis,Mrs. John (Madeline) Zubricky,and Mrs. Pete (Betty) Bednar of Fayette City R.D.1;twenty-two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home where Parastas will be held Sunday evening at eight o'clock. Prayer there Monday,February 1,at 8:30 a.m.,will be followed by Requiem Mass at nine o'clock at the Holy Ghost Greek Catholic Church,Charleroi. Rev. George Kuzma will be in charge,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The George M. McCory and Son Funeral Home is in charge.
