Mamie I.Brown,76,of 483 Clarendon Ave.,Monessen,died at 10 a.m.on Thursday,Jan.14,1960 in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was president of the Missionary Society of the Speer St. A.M.E.Church of Belle Vernon for the past 26 years. Surviving her are two sons,Felton of Monessen and Christopher of Columbus,Ohio;and four grandchildren. Friends are being received at the DuBoise Carter Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen from 1 to 5 p.m.and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held at the Speer St.A.M.E.Church of Belle Vernon on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev.Luther Owens will officiate.
