Lewis S.Blackburn;aged 85 years;415 Graham street;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Oct.27;1956 at 10:15 p.m.at his home;after a long illness.  He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Sarah Blackburn;two daughters;Mrs.Earl (Elsie) May;of North Charleroi;and Mrs.Benjamin (Alda) Aspy;of Okmulgee;Okla;;one sister;Mrs.George Cunningham;of R.D.Charleroi and two grandchildren.  He was a member of the Methodist Church of Charleroi;and was retired from the Allenport Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.  Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad Avenue;Belle Vernon;where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday;Oct.30;1956;at 2:30 p.m.with Rev.William Schatz;pastor of the Methodist Church in Belle Vernon officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner;funeral director.
