William Hunter Brown,322 Rostraver street, died Friday, November 4,1955 at 9:30 a.m. at his home. The deceased was 83 years of age. His wife preceded him in death in 1950. Surviving are two sons, James H. Brown and John Brown,both of Monessen; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Kieper of Dayton,Ohio,Mrs. Margaret Halkias of Stockdale and Mrs. Ella Rapsack of Van Voorhis; a number of grandchildren and a brother, Harry Brown of Huston. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church here. Friends will be received at the Harper Memorial Chapel,649 McKee avenue,after 7 o'clock on Saturday. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Leroy Cass, pastor of the Methodist Church in Monessen will be in charge. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harry G. Harper, funeral director.
