He was born in Uniontown on Jan;24;1908;and had lived in Belle Vernon the past 32 years. He was retired from the Penn Central Railroad. Mr.Augustine belonged to St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Polish National Alliance of Arnold City. He is survived by his widow;Ellen Palfrey Augustine;one son;Thomas J.Augustine of Charleroi R.D.2;three brothers;Stanley Augustine of Grindstone;Andrew Augustine of Brownsville and Anthony Augustine of South Euclid;Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.Sophia Finizia of Cleveland;Ohio;and Mrs.Bertha Wozniak of Grindstone;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday;Sept.29;and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday;Sept.30 Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday;Oct.1;at 9 a.m.;followed by a Service for the Dead at 9:30 a.m. in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
