Jennie Marie Allen;88;of Belle Vernon R.D.2;died Friday;Feb.13;1976;at 1:30 p.m.in Edgewood Nursing Home;Youngstown;Pa. Mrs.Allen was born in Sweden on Feb.15;1887;a daughter of the late Otto and Elma Eck Forsberg. She was a charter member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church and a resident of Rostraver Twp.since 1918. Mrs.Allen was preceded in death by her husband; Roland J.Allen on April 6;1950 and a son;John R.Allen;on Jan.6;1969. She is survived by one son;Robert O.Allen of Belle Vernon R.D.2;three daughters;Mrs.Elizabeth Hamilton of Belle Vernon;Mrs.George (Ruth) Homa of Belle Vernon R.D.2;and Mrs.James (Doris) Cloward of Avon;Ohio;one brother;William Forsberg of Newell;nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday;Feb.14;and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday;Feb.15. Services will be held Monday;Feb.16;at 1 p.m.;with Pastor Hartzell Michael of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
