Mr.Acton was born in West Elizabeth Aug.4;1903;and had been a resident of the Mon Valley all her life;residing in Speers Hill since 1957. Mrs.Acton was a member of Monessen Aerie 2399 Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband;Joseph M.;a son;Joseph F.of New Eagle;a brother;John Lemley of Cleveland;Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.Martha Sanes of Monessen and Mrs.Bernice Beight of Little Rock;Ark. Friends are being received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen;where services will be held at 1:30 p.m.Saturday;with the Rev.John A.Graham of First Presbyterian Church;Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
