Mrs.Fern Pancook Allen of Larson Plan;Fellsburg;was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Wednesday;July 8;1970;at 2 p.m. She had been in apparent good health. Born in Monessen;Mrs.Allen was the daughter of the late Arthur and May Sherwin Pancook. She worked in the office of the Monessen Page division of American Chain and Cable Co.until retiring in 1968. She was a member of Fells United Methodist Church in Fellsburg and Ladies Auxiliary of Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Surviving are her husband;Fred Allen Sr.;a step-daughter;Mrs.Susan Quinto of Fellsburg;one step-son;Fred Allen Jr.of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;a brother;Everett Pancook of Monessen;athletic and vocational director in the Monessen School System. A brother;William Pancook;died March 28;1969. Friends will be received at Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m.July 9. Service there Saturday;July 11;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Kent A.Lighthall;pastor of Fells United Methodist Church;Fellsburg;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
