Marshall W. Allen,64, of 500 Meldon Ave.,Donora,died Saturday, June 28,1969 at 9 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lingering illness. Mr. Allen was born on March 10,1905 in Griffin, Ga. A resident of Donora for the past 46 years,he was a retired employee of U.S. Steel's American Steel and Wire Division,formerly of Donora. He was a former member of St. Paul's Baptist Church of Donora and was a member of Monongahela Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons and St.Cyprian Consistory,No. 4 of Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife, Mahaley Allen; three daughters, Mrs. Levere (Hazel) Ramey,Mrs. Theodore (Rula) Walton and Chevic Allen, all of Donora;his father,Marshall W. Allen of Ga. and a brother,Willie of Philadelphia. Friends will be received at the Percy Law Funeral Home,Donora. Funeral services are Thursday,July 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Baptist Church of Donora. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy Law is the funeral director.
