Obituary

George W.Allfree,87,formerly of North Charleroi,who had been making his home with his daughter,Mrs.Caleb (Gladys) Zollars of 126 Kelly Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Monday,Feb.19,1968,at 8:15 p.m.in the Golden Age Nursing Home at Brownsville. Mr.Allfree formerly worked with Pittsburgh Street Railways Co.as a motorman,retiring some years ago. He was a member of Amalgamated Transit unit,Division 85,Pittsburgh,and First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon. Surviving besides his daughter are his widow,Mary Wetzel Allfree,one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.beginning Feb.22. Service there Saturday,Feb.24,at 2 p.m.conducted by the Rev.W.S.Van Arsdale,pastor of Charleroi's First Christian Church,and Dr.S.Arthur Talman,pastor of Belle Vernon's First Presbyterian Church. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.
