Funeral service was held this afternoon at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon for Daniel Atkinson Jr.;60;of 217 Frederick Ave. Belle Vernon;who died suddenly Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr.Atkinson was a truck driver and mainterance man for Rostraver Twp.Commisioners. Surviving are his widow;Irene (Stark) Atkinson;a daughter;Mrs.Edwin (Nola) Pelczer of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;a brother;John of Belle Vernon;five sisters;Mrs.William (Isabel) Beck of Fellsburg;Mrs.Phyllis Roucroft of Clairton;Mrs.Frederick (Florina) Rushenberg of Akron;Ohio;Mrs.Charles (Elva) Kraft of Donora and Mrs.Wilbur (Eleanor) Stanger in Oklahoma. The Rev.Warren Upton of the Lutheran Church at Wilkinsburg officiated at the service. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
