Henry Alexander,74,of Pleasant Green Hill,Pricedale,died Monday,Jan. 18,1960,at 4 p.m. in a nursing home in Uniontown. Born in Ashby,Ala. March 17,1885,Mr. ALexander came to Pennsylvania in 1922. He was a retired coal miner,having retired in 1951,and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon. He belonged to George Carver No. 8 Masonic Lodge of Smithton. Surviving ar his wife, Tennie;a son, Willie of Chicago.,Ill.;two daughters, Mrs. Magnolia Edwards and Mrs. Idalia Jones,both of New York City;a brother,John of West Blockton, Ala;a sister,Mrs. Anna Mae Barnes of Kitts, Ky.and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Beverly Draper Funeral Home,Monessen on Friday from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon.
