Mrs. Sarah M. Assenat of Charleroi R.D.1,died Friday, February 6,1959,at 3:35 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital. She was born March 8,1895,in Webster. She is survived by one son, John E, Abbey at home;two brothers, Jerry Aebi of Coal Center and Fred Aebi of Arnett,Oklahoma; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Lowe of Donora,Mrs. Meryl Bowser of McDonald,Mrs. Samuel Simpson of Donora,Mrs. Robert Caldwell of Allison Park and Mrs. Herbert Smith of Belle Vernon,R.D.;four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at the Schrock Funeral Home,226 Fallowfield aveune,Charleroi,where services will be held Monday, February 9,at 1 p.m. Rev. Pauline Burke will be in charge, and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock is the funeral director.
