Robert Wade Amalong, 96, formerly of Ferncliff Drive, Belle Vernon, died Thursday,Oct. 30,1958 at 8:20 a. m. in the Bebout Nursing Home, Washington, Pa. He was born in Belle Vernon on June 17, 1862 and was a retired plumber. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, Belle Vernon. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Church (Essie) Hixenbaugh, Monessen and Mrs. Robert Hutchinson, Lock Four. Thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, where services will be held Saturday,Nov.1,at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev. J.C.Puz,of the First Baptist Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
