Joseph Amato;61;of 212 Grove avenue;Lynnwood;died in the Veterans’ Hospital;Aspinwall;Wednesday;February 25;1953;at 11:12 a.m. Mr.Amato was born in Italy;February 10;1892;and had been a barber practically all his life. For the past ten years he worked at his trade in Monessen. He is a veteran of World War I;having served in the U.S.Army. He is survived by his wife;Mary Edward Amato;two sons;Joseph of Morrisville;Lloyd at home;one daughter;Mrs.Norman (Sarafene) Huscroft;Belle Vernon;two brothers;Frank and Anthony of Buffalo;New York;two sisters;Mrs.Louis Tuccellia and Mrs.John Alfieri of Buffalo;New York;and one grandchild. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Saturday;February 28;1953;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.John Bowers. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
