Obituary

Irma E.Zimmerman,68,of 429 Green St.,Belle Vernon,died Monday,Oct.4.1999,in Presbyterian Hospital,Pittsburgh. Born OCt.3,1931,in Leisenring,she was a daughter of the late Michael and Vera Turanik Pasulka. Catholic by faith,she had been a resident of Belle Vernon the past 48 years. Mrs.Zimmerman had owned and operated the former Irma's Restaurant in North Belle Vernon for 15 years. She had also worked for Parente TV Sales and Service in North Belle Vernon. Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law,Francis and Cindy Zimmerman of Belle Vernon,Eugene Zimmerman of Clairton and John Zimmerman,two daughters and sons-in-law,Irma (Honey) and Dan Monticelli of Belle Vernon and Vera Sue and Frank Hannan of Belle Vernon,three brothers,Edward Pasulka of the state of California,her twin brother,Eugene Pasulka of Ligonier,and Michael Pasulka of Medina,Ohio,two sisters,Victoria Pasulka of Somerset and Grace Lepree of Connellsville,16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,John,on Sept.5,1970,a son,Joseph,on Sept.29,1984,and a brother,Constatine Pasulka. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.,,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Blessing service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.John Cindric,V.P.,pastor of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Bbelle Vernon,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
