Olga H.Zuro;87;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Aug.17;1997;at 2:15 p.m.in the Parish House;Perryopolis. She was born in North Belle Vernon on Jan.6;1910;a daughter of the late Mike and Anna Mitush Zuro Sr. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;she was a member of Belle Vernon Golden Agers and the Belle Vernon Eastern Star. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of Charleroi. In 1976;she retired from Mine Safety Corp.of Wilkinsburg. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by four brothers;Steve;William;John and Michael Zuro Jr.;and a sister;Eve Strianka. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law;Peter and Sophie Zuro of Monessen and Paul and Rosemarie Zuro of McKeesport;and four sisters;Jean Astle;Mrs.James (Mary) John and Mrs.Dalvert (Doris) Booth;all of Belle Vernon;and Ann Mezoff of Bel-Air;Md. She is also survived by seven nephews;John Zuro;Michael Zuro;Dalvert Booth;Douglas Booth;David;James and Robert Zuro;and 11 nieces;Linda O’Brian;Marilyn Zuro;Janice Yeaton;Judy Tine;Barbara Strianka;Michelle Carson;Gloria Braddock;Marsha Lewis;Nancy Whiting;Beth Miller and Nicole Mezoff. She was also preceded in death by a nephew;James Jones. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Wednesday in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
