Obituary

Edward J. Ziemba of 8412 Alyce Place, Alexandria, Va. died Saturday,August 8,1981, at 10:45 a.m. in Mount Vernon Hospital, Alexandria, Va. Mr. Ziemba, a former Donora resident, was 58. He was born June 2, 1923 in Donora, a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Urbinski Ziemba. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Ziemba was Catholic by faith. He was employed as an engineer with the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his widow, Anna Galla Ziemba; seven sons, David of Suzuamish, Wash., Joseph of Lisbon, Conn., Edward of Marshall, Va., Eugene of Fort Collins, Colo., and Steven, Thomas and Daniel, all at home; four daughters, Mrs. Russ (Judy) Baker of Long Beach, Calif., and Paula, Tricia and DeAnn, all at home; five brothers, John of Tampa, Fla., Martin and Walter of Monongahela, Louis (Larry) of Phoenix, Ariz, and Stanley of Tampa, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. Friends are being received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, Monday from 1 to 9 p.m.,where services will be held Tuesday,Aug.11,at 9 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in the Holy Spirit R.C.Church with Fr.Thomas G.Rinn,pastor,as celebrant.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
