Frank (Bear) Yemiola Jr.,71,of Oliver Avenue, Bentleyville,died Wednesday,June 21,1995,in Mon Valley Hosptial. Born Aug. 28,1923,in Bentleyville,he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Julia Vitikac Yemiola. He retired in 1980 from BethEnergy Mines Inc., Mine 51 in Ellsworth. Mr. Yemiola served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 165,Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5454 and Bentworth Senior Citizens,all of Bentleyville. He also was a member of UMWA Local 1197. On June 25,1966,in St. Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon,he married Louise Silvania Yowonske,who survives. Also surviving are two step-daughters,Kris of Asheboro, N.C., and Linda of Ellsworth; one stepson, Frank of Norfolk,Va.,four grandchildren;two great-grandchildren;two brothers, Joseph Yemiola of Bentleyville and John Yemiola of Washington and one sister,Mrs. Pete (Liz) Valusiak of Bentleyville. Three brothers, William,Anthony and Louis Yemola are deceased. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home,809 Main St.,Bentleyville,where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mark J. Skertich officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery,with graveside military rites accorded by American Legion Post 165. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Yemiola's name to Ave Maria School,Box 650,Ellsworth, 15331. Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home.
