Valley Hospital.
She was born April 9; 1913; in
Star Junction; a daughter of the
late Clarence and Jean Hughes
Kern.
She was a member of the
United Presbyterian Church;
Fayette City.
Survivors include her husband; John Gilbert Young; one
son and daughter-in-law; Donald
E. and Janice Young of Fayette
City; one daughter and son-inlaw; Mrs. Lou Ann and James
Russell of Rostraver Township;
one sister; Mrs. Ralph (Gloria
Rae) Murphy of Port Richie;
Fla.; seven grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; she
was preceded in death by three
brothers and her stepmother.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Howard W. McCrory
Funeral Home; Fayette City;where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Michael Shepard;pastor of the United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of rhe arrangements.
