Wilfred E.Young;70;of Second Street;Newell;died Thursday;March 6;1986;at 11:58 a.m. in Uniontown Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Fayette City;Jan.16;1916;he was a son of the late James and Elizabeth Park Young. Mr.Young was a Protestant by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army;serving in World War II. Mr.Young retired from the Allied Chemical Corp.;Newell plant. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;James V.Young in 1973. Surviving are his wife;Margaret Stewart Young;a daughter;Mrs.Ross (Betsy Ann) Ackinclose of Fayette City R.D.1;two brothers;Clarence and Gilbert J.Young;both of Fayette City and a grandson;Timothy Ross Ackinclose. Friends will be received Friday and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;when funeral services will be held with Pastor Robert Cromwell of the Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City R.D.1;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arranngements.
