Chester L.Yost;80;of Belle Vernon;R.D.3 died Monday;July 12;1982;at 2:30 a.m. in the Hillview Nursing Home;Claysville;Pa. Mr.Yost was born Dec.14;1901;in McKeesport;a son of the late Phillip and Bertha Yost. He had retired 18 years ago from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation where he had been employed as a foreman in the Oil Well Tubing Department. Mr.Yost had resided in Rostraver Twp.the past 60 years. Survivors include his wife;Rose Richie Yost;at home;one son;Russell Yost;of Belle Vernon R.D.2;two daughters;Mrs.John (Rose Marie) Kerr of Belle Vernon R.D.4 and Mrs.Charles (Betty) McCauley of Belle Vernon R.D.1;two sisters;Mrs.Bertha Mae Bereletic of Cook’s Forest;Pa.;and Mrs.Iretta Lynch of Belle Vernon R.D.3;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home;with the Rev.Kenneth J.Peters;pstor;First United Methodist Church;Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
