the Veterans Hospital; Pittsburgh.
He was born Sept. 7;1915;in
Fayette City; son of the late Luke and Mary Salko Yakim.
A retired railroader; he was
a veteran of Air Force service
during World War II.
He was a member of Holy
Resurrection Orthodox
Church of Belle Vernon.
Surviving are one brother;
John of R.D. 1 Fayette City;
three sisters; Mrs. Annna
Puskas and Sophia Yakim
both of Fayette City; and Mrs.Mary Lazzari of Belle Vernon. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends are being received until 9 p.m.Monday evening in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A Blessing service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.John J.Kluchko officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
