Helen M. (White) Williams,94,formerly of Fayette City R.D. and Belle Vernon,died Thursday,May 29,1997,at 6:30 p.m. in the Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg,after a lengthy illness. She was born in Newell, May 13,1903,a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Stevenson White. Mrs. Williams was Protestant by faith. Surviving is a sister and brother-in-law,Margaret (White) and George W. Diethorn of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams in 1958,and a sister,Elizabeth Garee in 1980. There will be no visitation and private services will be private for the family in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc. Fayette City,Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Ramsey of the First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
