Martha Keefer Wilkinson;99;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Friday;Dec.20;1996;at 12:45 a.m. in Washington County Health Center. Born April 12;1897;in Madison;she was a daughter of the late George Clarkson and Mary Jane Hoffer Keefer. A resident of Charleroi the past five years;she was a member of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Mrs.Wilkinson was also a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include six sons;Kenneth Keefer Wilkinson and Russell E.Wilkinson Jr.;both of Belle Vernon;Lawrence Wilkinson of Las Vegas;Nev.;William Wilkinson and Willis Wilkinson;both of Charleroi;and Edgar Wilkinson of the state of California;three daughters;Jane Fox of Charleroi;Betty Anderson of Fairhope and Leah Redak of Las Vegas;25 grandchildren ;24 great-grandchildren;and 14 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Russell E.Wilkinson Sr. on Sept.24;1984;a son;Sgt.Samuel Melvin Wilkinson;and a grandson;Jerry Fox. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Eugene Spear;pastor of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
