Yvonne P. Wood,94,of 106 Cozy Lane,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Feb. 15,1996,at 9:30 a.m. in the Country Care Personal Care Home, Washington Township. She was born Nov. 1,1901,in Seraing, Belgium,a daughter of the late Pierre and Leona Gillett Parmentier. She was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon,and resided in Belle Vernon for over 70 years. Survivors include five sons, Edwin Wood of Farmington,Thomas Wood of Rockville,Md.,William Wood of Farmington,Bartley J. Wood Jr. of San Diego,Calif,and Charles Wood of Greensburg; one daughter,Mrs. Jack (Elaine) Daka of Belle Vernon; 16 grandchildren,34 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Bartley J. Wood Sr. in 1969 and one brother, Marceau Parmentier. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeal Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John C. Park,pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
