Otis Judson Wooley;78;of Stockdale;formerly of Birmingham;Ala.;died Sunday;June 11;1995;at the Greenery;Canonsburg. Born Feb. 3;1917;in Birmingham;Ala.;he was the son of the late Clint and Mattie Bankhead Wooley. Mr.Wooley was a U.s.Army veteran of World War II;having served in the European Theatre in the Battle of the Bulge and on D-Day. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by three brothers; Bill; Durward and Ernest Wooley. Surviving are his wife; Lola
Vaughan Wooley; two daughters and a son-in-law; Joyce and
Steve Gazdick and Linda Nucci;
all of Stockdale; grandchildren
Rory and Helen Gazdick of
Speers; Stefanie and Gary
Betts of Cable; Ohio; Terri
Nucci of Yardley and Jason
Nucci of Stockdale; five great-grandchildren; two brothers;
T.C. Wooley of Fairhope; Ala.;
and Bob Wooley of Vance; Ala.;
and three sisters; Josie Fulmer
and Zelle Hurst; both of Auburn; Ala.; and Dorothy Bowers
of Decatur; Ga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends were received Monday and will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in
the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc.; 1008 Furlong Ave.;Roscoe;where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Lonnie Cook of Charleroi Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ed Melenyzer Funearl Homes Inc.;Roscoe.
