Ann Wellington;85;of Charleroi;died Monday;May 2;1994;in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Arnold City;Aug.23;1908;a daughter of the late Michael and Pauline Tharta Brilla. Mrs.Wellington was a member of St.Mary Episcopal Church of Charleroi. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Thornton Roscoe Wellington;who died Dec.23;1978;six sisters;Pauline;Veronica;Bertha and Elizabeth Brilla;Mary Sirokes and Sophie Witmyer;and one brother;Michael Brilla. She is survived by a son;William H.Wellington;with whom she made her home;one brother;Paul Brilla of Fayette City;one sister;Mrs.Stephen (Margaret) Yelanich of Fayette City;two grandchildren;Annie Wellington and William H.Wellington Jr.;and one great-grandson;William H.Wellington III. Friends will be received Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home;235 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m.in St.Mary’s Episcopal Church;Charleroi;with the Rev.Richard Visconti;pastor;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
