Harry S. Wilkinson Sr.; 83; of
Elco; died Monday; April 29;
1991; at Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18; 1907; in
Elco; a son of the late Samuel E.
and Ella Mae Hixenbaugh
Wilkinson.
Mr. Wilkinson was Protestant
by faith.
He had retired from Wheeling
Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport
Plant; in 1973; where he had
worked as a hot mill rougher. He
was a member of the Roscoe
Slovak Club and the Allenport
Rod and Gun Club.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by his
wife; Thelma Wilkinson on Feb.
13; 1973; two brothers; Charles
and Ray Wilkinson; and three
sisters; Grace Halm; Helen
O’Reilly and Florence Rankin.
He is survived by two sons;
Richard Aiello of Benbrook;
Texas; and Harry Wilkinson Jr.
of Stockdale; two daughters;
Sandy Grace of Allenport and
Mary Shimko of Elco; with
whom he made his residence; 12
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the
Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes
Inc.; 1008 Furlong Ave.; Roscoe;
on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.;where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Richard Carson;pastor of the United Methodist Church;Roscoe;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes;Inc.are in charge of the arrangements.
