Jan L.Wasicek of 625 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Feb.14;1990;at 5:55 p.m.at his home. He was 53. Mr.Wasicek was born Dec.15;1936;in North Charleroi;a son of Helen Todd Wasicek of Monessen and the late August Pokey Wasicek;who died Jan.24;1984. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was a U.S.Army veteran. Mr.Wasicek retired Dec.1;1988;as a technician in the engineering department of Westinghouse of East Pittsburgh. He was a member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Association. In addition to his mother;survivors include his wife;Pati Camino Wasicek;two sons;David Wasicek of Pittsburgh and Jon P.Wasicek at home;two daughters;Mrs.Raymond (Elizabeth) Moody of Fayette City and Maggie Wasicek of Belaire;Md.;two sisters;Mrs.George (Faith) Galiotto of Belle Vernon and Mrs.James (Judie) Kapcia of Clarksville;Mich. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
