Mildred E. Lape Keller Wanzilak,73,of 316 Hill St.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Jan.4,1990,at 2:53 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Mrs. Wanzilak was born Oct. 18,1916,in Monessen,a daughter of the late George R. and Lenora Ferguson Lape. In addition to her parents,she was also preceded in death by her first husband,Clyde Keller Jr.,who died in December,1952;by her second husband,Andrew Wanzilak,who died in 1979;and by her stepmother,Dorothy Modez Lape. Mrs. Wanzilak was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,and the Catholic Daughters of The Americas,Belle Vernon Court No. 1522. Surviving are a son,Donald G. Keller,of Belle Vernon;a daughter,Mrs. Edward (Melanie) Pearce,of Belle Vernon R.D.1;a brother,Harry R. Lape,of Thomms River,N.J.;a sister,Mrs. Paul "Chip" (Ruth) McCleary,of Monessen,two grandsons, Edwward C. Pearce and Sean Pearce,both of Belle Vernon;two great-grandchildren,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home,followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon.Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
