William E.Walch;41;of 224 First Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;May 2;1989;at 2 p.m. in the Monongahela Valley Hospital;following a lengthy illness. He was born in Monongahela on June 8;1947. Mr.Walch was a Baptist by faith. He had lived in the Belle Vernon area for the last three years;and was formerly of Fallowfield Twp. He was a coal miner;having worked at Bethlehem Mines;Livingston Portal at Eighty Four;for the last 15 years. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife;Bonnie Borne Walch;two daughters;Amanda Walch and Ashley Walch;both at home;one son;Michael Borne;at home;his mother;Dolores Hurley of Chandler;Ind.;his father and step-mother;Frank and Grace Walch of Monongahela;and two sisters;Patricia Taylor of Newburg;Ind.and Frankie Sodders Joseph of Chandler;Ind. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Inc.;700 Broad ave.;Belle Vernon;Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev.Stephen S.Dobosh of Metro Baptist Temple;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
