Obituary

William E.Walch,41,of 224 First Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,May 2,1989,at 2 p.m. in the Monongahela Valley Hospital,following a lengthy illness. He was born in Monongahela on June 8,1947. Mr.Walch was a Baptist by faith. He had lived in the Belle Vernon area for the last three years,and was formerly of Fallowfield Twp. He was a coal miner,having worked at Bethlehem Mines,Livingston Portal at Eighty Four,for the last 15 years. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife,Bonnie Borne Walch,two daughters,Amanda Walch and Ashley Walch,both at home,one son,Michael Borne,at home,his mother,Dolores Hurley of Chandler,Ind.,his father and step-mother,Frank and Grace Walch of Monongahela,and two sisters,Patricia Taylor of Newburg,Ind.and Frankie Sodders Joseph of Chandler,Ind. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Inc.,700 Broad ave.,Belle Vernon,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev.Stephen S.Dobosh of Metro Baptist Temple,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home,Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
