Izora Wilson;107 Grata Ave.;Arnold City;died Tuesday;Oct.22;1985;at 4:30 p.m.at the home of her son;Edgar;in Arnold City;with whom she made her home. She was 87. Mrs.Wilson was born in Georgia on March 10;1897;a daughter of the late Josh and Dawn Phillips. She was a resident of Arnold City the past 59 years and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and the Star of Bethlehem No.34 Order of the Eastern Star;Prince Hall affiliation of Monessen. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Andrew;Sr.;a son;Andrew Jr.;and a daughter;Rebecca Dupree. Survivors include a son;Edgar;Arnold City;two daughters;Mrs.Izora Carson and son-in-law Finley Carson of Arnold City and Mrs.Nathan (Mary Ann) Goff of Charleroi;10 grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild;a devoted niece;Mrs.Mary Dunn of Birmingham;Ala.;and a host of cousins;relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Luther Warmack officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home of Monessen is handling the arrangements.
