Obituary

Harry Worrell of 205 North Fairfield St.Ligonier,formerly of Pricedale,died at Latrobe Hospital Wednesday,April 11,1984,at 8 a.m. He was 81. Born in Belle Vernon on Sept.27,1902,he was a son of the late John and Sarah Worrell. Mr.Worrell spent most of his life in the Belle Vernon area amd moved to Ligonier five years ago. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Mr.Worrell retired in 1965 as a glass cutter for the American Windwr Glass Co.of Jeannette. Surviving are his wife,Mary Turner Worrell,two daughters,Mrs.Donald (Kathleen) Larson of Clearwater,Fla,and Mrs.William (Dorothy Ann) Kioski of Ligonier and four grandchildren. Friends are being received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev.James Fogg,pastor of the Calvary Methodist Church of Ligonier officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,is in charge of arrangements.
