Lawrence B. Wade,34,of 685 Reed Ave., Monessen,died Tuesday,July 15,1980,at 7 p.m. in the Presbyterian Eye and Ear Hospital,Pittsburgh.Born March 24,1946,in Lynchburg,Va.,he was the son of Truehart and Selma Hullie Wade, who survive, and had lived virtually all his life in Monessen. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Monessen. In addition to his parents,survivors include two sisters,Wendy Wade,at home,and Mrs. James (Selma) Arnold of Monessen, a grandfather,two nieces,two nephews and several aunts and uncles. Friends are being received in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Reed Ave.,and Rostraver St.,Monessen,after 2 p.m.Friday and until 1 p.m. Saturday when services will be conducted by the Rev. Griffin Mason of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and the Rev. William Bass of the Church of God in Christ of Monessen. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,608 Sixth St.,Monessen, is in charge of arrangements.
