Charles H. "Howdy" Williams,65,of 522 Hawthorne Blvd.,Leesburg, Fla.,formerly of Monongahela R.D.2,died Tuesday,Jan. 15,1980,at Lake Community Hospital in Leesburg. Born in Fayette City on Feb. 28,1914,he was a son of the late William and Anna Mulhearn Williams. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg. He was formerly a superintendent in the Automatic Finish Tube Division of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.at Allenport. Surviving are his widow, Margaret Krizan Williams;a son,Dennis and a daughter, Maryann Williams,both of Belle Vernon;and two sisters, Catherine Fillingham of Charleroi and Eleanor Grill of Meadville, Pa. A brother, Watkins W. Williams,preceded him in death. Friends may call at the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home in Charleroi from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday and Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.Saturday in St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Charleroi with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
