Born Sept.30;1906 in Monessen;Mrs.Woodson was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Randolph Donnell. Mrs.Woodson was a member of the Speers St.A.M.E.Church;and was a member of the Stewardess Board;and president of the Senior Choir at the Church. She was preceded in death by her husband;James A.Woodson;on Oct.30;1974. Mrs.Woodson is survived by four sons;James Woodson of Belle Vernon;Robert Woodson of West Mifflin;Louis Woodson of Monessen and Dale Woodson of Huntingdon;W.Va.;a daughter;Mrs.Sylvester (Merle) Lee of Monongahela;two brothers;Durwood Donnell of Pittsburgh;and Paul Donnell of Uniontown;three sisters;Mrs.Alice Mines of San Bernadino;Calif.;Mrs.Bertha Glosster and Elizabeth Smith;both of Pittsburgh;and 17 grandchildren. Friends will be received in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Mrs.Woodson will be taken to the Speers A.M.E.Church at 6 p.m.Sunday to lie in state until funeral services are conducted Monday at 11 a.m. Rev.W.M.McGowan;pastor;will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
