Betty E. Von Bergen,68,of Donora,died Monday, Feb.8,1993,at 12:50 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township,following a lenghty illness. She was born Sept. 13,1924,in Monessen,a daugher of the late Albert and Barbara Belicich. Mrs. Von Bergen was a member of the Salvation Army,Monessen Corps. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Von Bergen. Survivors include one son,John Von Bergen of Carson City,Nev.,one daughter, Elaine Von Bergen of Donora;four grandchildren and two sisters, Frances Fleming of Monessen and Eleanor Glova of Michigan. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,and Wednesday until 1 p.m.,when services will be held in the funeral home with Captain Beauchamp of the Salvation Army Monessen Corps officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
